Build Something That Lasts.
ADC Construction is hiring crew members and foremen across the Central Valley. Veteran-owned, General B licensed, and run by a guy who still swings a hammer.
Why People Stay Here.
Adam started ADC Construction in 2022 after learning the trade from his father-in-law and serving in the United States Army. That background shapes how the company runs. Crews get told what the plan is. Nobody finds out about a schedule change from a homeowner. When something goes wrong on a job, it gets handled in the open instead of pushed down the ladder.
The work stays varied. In a given month a crew might frame an ADU in Elk Grove, tear out a kitchen in Folsom, and set decking on a patio in Stockton. If you want to learn more than one piece of the trade, there is room for that here. If you already know your piece cold, there is room for that too.
We work a thirty-mile radius out of Lodi, which means you are not living in a truck. Jobs run across Sacramento, San Joaquin, Amador, and Calaveras counties, and most crews are home for dinner. Residential remodels, new construction, commercial roofing systems, and ADUs keep the calendar full through the slow months when other outfits send people home.
Adam answers the phone. He shows up on site. He knows every person on his crew by name. That is the whole pitch. If you do good work and communicate like an adult, this is a company worth building a career at.
Pick Your Role and Apply
Two openings, two separate applications. Fill out the one that fits. Adam reviews every submission personally and reaches out within a few days.
Crew Member
You show up, you learn fast, and you take pride in clean work. Framing, drywall, decks, roofing, remodels. Experience helps, but a good attitude and a reliable truck get you in the door.
- Framing, drywall, siding, decks, and remodel work across the Central Valley
- Load in and load out, keep the site clean and the tools accounted for
- Work alongside a foreman who will teach you the trade properly
- Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to the job site
- Entry level to journeyman welcome, pay based on what you bring
Foreman
You have run crews before and you know how a job goes sideways when nobody owns the schedule. We need someone who reads plans, runs a walkthrough, and keeps the homeowner informed without Adam having to chase it.
- Run daily crews on residential remodels, ADUs, and commercial roofing jobs
- Read plans, pull the material list, and keep the schedule honest
- Own the inspection walkthrough and the punch list to the last item
- Five or more years in the trade with real crew leadership behind you
- Talk straight with homeowners and Adam when something changes
Before You Apply
Do I need my own tools?
Hand tools and a tool belt, yes. Bring what you would normally carry. ADC supplies the power tools, the heavy equipment, and anything specialized to the job. If you are coming in entry level and short a few things, say so on your application and we will work it out.
What experience do I need for the crew position?
Less than you might think. We hire people who show up on time, listen, and care about the finish. If you have framed, hung drywall, or run a roof before, that moves your pay up. If you have not, you will be paired with a foreman who teaches instead of barks. What we cannot train is reliability.
How far will I be driving?
We work a thirty-mile radius out of the Lodi shop, covering Sacramento, San Joaquin, Amador, and Calaveras counties. Crews meet at the shop or head straight to the site depending on the day. Most people are home for dinner. See the full list of cities we cover if you want to gauge your commute.
Is the work seasonal?
No. The mix of interior remodels, commercial roofing, and ADU builds keeps crews busy through winter when framing-only outfits slow down. That is deliberate. Adam built the service list so his people are not sitting home in January.
What is the pay?
It depends on what you bring and what you can prove on site. We talk numbers in the first conversation, not in a job post. Pay gets reviewed as your skills grow, and foremen earn accordingly. Call (209) 200-5302 if you want to discuss it before applying.
Can I apply for both positions?
Submit the foreman application if you have run crews. It covers everything the crew form does and tells us about your leadership background. If the foreman spot is filled, we will consider you for crew automatically. No need to send both.
What happens after I submit?
Adam reads every application himself. If it looks like a fit, you get a phone call within a few days to set up a conversation, usually at the Lodi shop or on a job site so you can see how we work. Questions in the meantime go to our contact page or straight to the phone.
Rather Just Talk?
Call the shop and ask for Adam. He would rather hear from you directly than read a form.
