Construction & Remodeling Across the Capital Region

Aging mid-century neighborhoods and newer master-planned communities — one General B contractor for both.

ADC Construction serves Sacramento County from Lodi. The Delta-edge communities — Walnut Grove, Vineyard, Wilton — and Elk Grove are a short run for us, and we work north and east into Carmichael, Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, Folsom, Rancho Cordova, and the rest of the county from there.

Sacramento County is really two kinds of work. The established mid-century neighborhoods — Carmichael, Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks — have homes with good structure but kitchens, baths, roofs, and electrical and plumbing systems that are decades past due for a real update. The newer master-planned areas — Elk Grove, Folsom, Gold River, Rancho Murieta — run more to additions, high-finish remodels, and detached ADUs, which California’s accessory-dwelling-unit rules have turned into one of our most-requested projects in the region.

The thing that trips up out-of-area contractors here is jurisdiction. The County of Sacramento, the City of Sacramento, Elk Grove, Folsom, Citrus Heights, and Rancho Cordova each run their own building departments, and master-planned communities add an HOA architectural-review layer on top. We pull and coordinate the correct permits for the correct jurisdiction and account for HOA review in the schedule instead of getting surprised by it.

One General B license covers structural work, roofing, interior remodeling, drywall, and the trades that connect them — one accountable crew and one punch list, whether it is a 1960s ranch in Carmichael or an addition in Folsom. Owner Adam, a US Army veteran, runs every job to a finish-the-list standard and stays reachable after the final invoice.

Why ADC

A Sacramento Job, Run to a Lodi Standard

Veteran-Owned Accountability

Owner Adam is a US Army veteran who worked the trades before he ran a company. That shows up as schedules that hold, a clean site, and a contractor who finishes the punch list instead of going quiet after the deposit.

Knows the Jurisdiction Maze

County, City of Sacramento, Elk Grove, Folsom, Citrus Heights, Rancho Cordova — each with its own building department, plus HOA review in master-planned areas. We pull the right permits for the right authority instead of improvising.

ADU & Addition Capable

Detached ADUs and additions are some of our most-requested Sacramento work. One General B license carries the project from design coordination through final inspection — no stitching together separate trades.

Sacramento County FAQ

Questions From Sacramento Owners

Which Sacramento County cities does ADC Construction serve?

We work Sacramento, Elk Grove, Folsom, Citrus Heights, Fair Oaks, Carmichael, Orangevale, Rio Linda, Rancho Cordova, Walnut Grove, Rosemont, Gold River, Mather, Rancho Murieta, Vineyard, and Wilton. Not sure if your address is in range? Call (209) 200-5302 and we will tell you straight.

Do you build detached ADUs in Sacramento County?

Yes — detached and attached ADUs are one of our most-requested projects here. We build to California’s ADU code, coordinate the permit with the correct jurisdiction, and carry the unit from foundation through final as one General B project.

Who issues the permit — the county or the city?

It depends on the address. The County of Sacramento, City of Sacramento, Elk Grove, Folsom, Citrus Heights, and Rancho Cordova each run their own building departments. We determine the correct authority and pull and coordinate the permit so you do not have to untangle it.

Can you update an older mid-century home?

That is a large part of what we do in Carmichael, Citrus Heights, and Fair Oaks. The structure on these homes is usually sound; we modernize kitchens, baths, roofing, and electrical and plumbing systems while keeping the project on one accountable crew.

Do you work within HOA architectural review?

Yes. In master-planned communities we account for HOA architectural-review timelines and submittals in the project schedule up front, so approvals do not become a mid-project surprise.
