Our landscaping is contractor-grade hardscape and site work, the structural side of the yard: grading and drainage, retaining walls, concrete and paver patios and walkways, irrigation, and the dirt-and-water problems that decide whether everything else survives. The single biggest reason a yard fails is water moving the wrong way, toward the house, undermining a wall, or pooling where nothing will grow. We fix the grade and the drainage first, because plants and pavers installed over a water problem just become an expensive version of the same problem.

The work runs in order: read how water currently moves across the site, establish proper grading and any required drainage, build retaining and seat walls on real footings with drainage behind them, install hardscape on a compacted base, then irrigation and planting. A retaining wall without drainage behind it is a wall waiting to fail; we build them so the soil load and the water both have somewhere to go.

The terrain dictates the approach across our service area. Valley lots in Lodi, Stockton, and Sacramento are mostly about drainage and water-wise design that survives triple-digit summers and California water reality. Foothill lots in Amador and Calaveras add slope, erosion control, and fire-aware spacing. We design to the site you actually have.
