Where ADC Construction Works, and Why Local Matters

ADC Construction works a defined territory on purpose: roughly a 30-mile radius of our Lodi shop, covering 34 cities across San Joaquin, Sacramento, Amador, and Calaveras counties, and excluding the Bay Area. That boundary is not a limitation, it is a quality decision. A contractor who is two hours from the jobsite is a contractor who does not come back for the punch list and does not pick up the phone a year later. Staying inside a radius we can actually service is how Adam keeps the promise the whole company is built on: we answer the phone after the build, and we come back.

Local knowledge is real, not a slogan, because the four counties we serve are genuinely different to build in. The valley floor, Lodi, Stockton, Tracy, Ripon, Sacramento, Elk Grove, Folsom, is expansive-clay-soil and intense-sun country: foundations and drainage have to be engineered for soil that moves, and roofs and exteriors age from heat and UV, not snow. The Amador and Calaveras foothills are a different build entirely: sloped lots, well-and-septic parcels, snow-load at higher elevations along Highway 88, and fire-aware construction. A contractor who treats a Camanche foothill lot like a flat Lodi subdivision lot gets it wrong. We engineer to the site that is actually in front of us.

The other thing that travels across every city we serve is the General B advantage. Whether the project is a kitchen in Folsom, a reroof in Stockton, an ADU in Sutter Creek, or a foundation in Valley Springs, it is delivered under one contract by one accountable contractor instead of a scatter of trades on separate schedules. The permitting jurisdiction changes city to city and county to county, and we handle that for you rather than leaving you to learn each building department. One call, one contract, one person responsible, in every town on this map.

If your city is on the list below, you get the same standard, the same itemized quote, and the same contractor who stays reachable, no matter which corner of the territory you are in. Call (209) 200-5302 or request an on-site visit and we will tell you honestly what your project needs.

FAQ

Service Area Questions

How far from Lodi will ADC travel for a project?

We work a roughly 30-mile radius of our Lodi shop, 34 cities across San Joaquin, Sacramento, Amador, and Calaveras counties, excluding the Bay Area. We hold that boundary deliberately so we can actually service the punch list and stay reachable after the job, which is the entire premise of the company.

Do you charge a trip or travel fee within your service area?

On-site quotes are free anywhere in our service area. Travel within the 30-mile radius is part of how we operate, not a line item. If a project is near or just past the edge of the map, call and ask, we occasionally take on work beyond it when it fits.

Does building in the Amador and Calaveras foothills differ from the valley?

Significantly. Foothill lots bring slope, well-and-septic parcels, snow-load at higher elevations, and fire-aware construction, while the valley floor is about expansive-clay soil and sun-driven aging. We engineer to the specific site rather than reusing a flat-lot spec, which is exactly why local experience matters here.

Do you handle permits in different cities and counties?

Yes. Permitting jurisdiction changes from city to city and county to county across our territory. We handle the permits and inspections for the jurisdiction your project is in so you do not have to learn four building departments.

Is the quality the same in every city you serve?

Yes. Same standard, same itemized quote, same contractor who stays reachable, whether you are in Stockton, Sacramento, Sutter Creek, or Valley Springs. Staying inside a radius we can truly service is how we keep that consistent.

My town is small and not a major city. Do you still serve it?

Yes. The smaller foothill and rural communities on our list, places like Buckhorn, Red Corral, and Mokelumne Hill, get the same General B contractor and the same accountability as the larger cities. Use the county lists above to find your town, or just call us.

Outside Our Map?

Call us anyway. We occasionally take on work beyond the 30-mile radius when the project fits.
