Industrial Construction in Lodi, California

What ADC Construction Delivers
At ADC Construction, industrial construction means more than just completing a job. It means showing up on time, using quality materials, communicating clearly from quote to walkthrough, and standing behind the work long after the crew leaves Lodi.
Adam personally oversees every project. He earned his General B contractor’s license after serving in the US Army, and he built ADC Construction in 2022 on one principle: treat every property like it’s your own home. That standard applies to a small repair just as much as a six-figure remodel.
If you’ve been burned by a contractor who ghosted you after the check cleared, you’re not alone. We hear it every week. ADC is the answer to that. We pick up the phone after the build. We come back. We fix anything that needs fixing.
ADC’s industrial construction scope. Our industrial work is the kind that fits a San Joaquin and Sacramento Valley ag-and-logistics region: warehouses, shops, equipment and storage buildings, ag-support structures, and pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) erection and slabs. We are a licensed Lodi General B contractor and we are direct about that. We build and coordinate the building envelope and site, the foundation, slab, framing or steel erection, and shell, not heavy process industrial like refineries or chemical plant mechanical, which belong to specialized industrial GCs.
The work runs in order: site work and engineered foundation sized for the loads and the soil, slab poured to the flatness and thickness the use requires (a warehouse forklift slab is not a garage slab), steel or PEMB erected to the manufacturer’s anchor and bracing detail, then envelope, and the trades coordinated under inspection. The slab and the anchor-bolt layout are the two places an industrial build goes wrong early and expensively; we set them to the engineered drawings and verify before steel goes up.
Central Valley industrial sites bring real soil and drainage questions, sandy loam with clay lenses, high water tables in places, and large impervious areas that have to drain and meet stormwater requirements. We engineer the foundation and site to what is actually there. Because ADC holds a General B license, the foundation, structure, envelope, and the slab-related work are delivered under one accountable contract, with the heavier specialty trades coordinated rather than pretended.
On cost: an industrial construction quote is driven by the structural system, slab spec, site and soil work, and stormwater requirements, far more than by building square footage. A straightforward PEMB on good soil is one number; deep or engineered foundations, a heavy-duty slab, significant site drainage, and complex steel is another. We itemize it on the free assessment and are honest up front about which scope belongs with us and which does not.

Industrial Construction Questions
How much does industrial construction cost in Lodi, CA?
Cost varies widely based on project scope, material selection, and square footage. ADC Construction provides free, detailed, itemized quotes within 48 hours of your consultation so you know the exact investment before committing.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. ADC Construction holds a California General B contractor’s license and full liability insurance. Every project includes permit management, inspections, and warranty coverage.
How long does industrial construction typically take?
Timelines depend on scope. We provide a realistic project schedule with your quote and keep you updated throughout. Most residential projects fall between 1 and 6 weeks depending on complexity.
Do you serve areas outside Lodi?
Yes. We serve 35 cities across San Joaquin, Sacramento, Amador, and Calaveras counties within a 30-mile radius of Lodi, excluding the Bay Area. View all service areas.
What kind of industrial buildings do you take on?
Warehouses, shops, storage and equipment buildings, ag-support structures, and pre-engineered metal buildings: the envelope, foundation, slab, and structure. We are a Lodi General B contractor and will tell you directly when a project, such as heavy process or chemical plant work, belongs with a specialized industrial GC.
Do you erect pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB)?
Yes. We pour the engineered foundation and slab to the building’s anchor-bolt layout and erect the PEMB to the manufacturer’s bracing and connection detail. Getting the anchor layout and slab right before steel goes up is exactly where these projects are won or lost.
Can you handle the slab for heavy equipment or forklift traffic?
Yes, and it is engineered for that, not a standard slab. Thickness, reinforcement, joint layout, and flatness are specified to the actual loads and use. We build the slab to that spec because a warehouse slab poured like a garage floor fails fast under real traffic.
What if I have issues after the project wraps?
Adam personally answers the phone after every project. If something needs attention, we come back and fix it. That long-term relationship is the reason most of our work comes from referrals and repeat clients.
