ADC’s industrial plumbing scope. Our industrial plumbing is the building and utility plumbing that goes with warehouses, shops, and ag-support facilities: domestic water and DWV, restroom and break-room cores, wash bays and trench drains, hose bibs and yard hydrants, water heating, and the under-slab rough-in for a new shell. We coordinate this under a General B contract alongside the building work, with the licensed plumbing capacity the job requires. We are honest that this is facility plumbing, not specialized process-piping or hazardous-fluid systems, which belong with industrial process specialists.

The work runs in order: lay out to the approved plans and the equipment requirements, set under-slab DWV and supply before the slab pours (this is the single highest-stakes sequencing point on an industrial build, it cannot be redone without breaking concrete), pressure-test and pass the underground inspection, then above-slab rough, fixtures, and verification. Getting the under-slab right before the pour is the difference between a clean industrial build and a jackhammer.

Industrial sites add real requirements a house never sees: backflow protection on irrigation and process makeup, oil-water separators or trench drains where vehicles and equipment are washed, grease handling for facilities with food operations, and stormwater coordination on large impervious sites. We design to those code obligations up front. Because ADC holds a General B license, the under-slab plumbing is sequenced with the foundation and slab under one accountable contract instead of a sub on a separate clock.

On cost: an industrial plumbing quote is driven by under-slab scope, code-required separators and backflow, fixture cores, and how much site utility work is involved, not fixture count. A modest restroom-and-utility scope tying into adequate service is one number; extensive under-slab, wash bays with separators, and new site utilities is another. We itemize it on the free assessment and flag the under-slab and code-driven items early because they cannot be value-engineered after the pour.
